Why should i buy a JohnDeere tractor?

I can tell you that prices even, I'd go with the Kubota. It has some nicer features, as long as you don't get a jerky 3ph. But, the big question is, how much are those features worth to YOU and should they make the cost difference up. I've never taken the FEL off any of my tractors, so the removable FEL on the 3800 isn't a big deal to me, but you may want to frequently. I'd go and test drive the machine and see which is worth more of you money, or more bang for your buck. In terms of performance, they will be relatively equal.

Why should i buy a John Deere 3830e over a Kubota L3800hst? The John Deere is cheaper, but its cheaper made. The biggest thing i see is the loader. What do yall think?

Have you tested either one yet? Get a feel for both...

I tried the red one, the green one, and the orange one. I just liked the features of the green and the lift capacity was much better.

. JD has it over Kubota with the maintenance parts and parts ordering on their website. go to JD website and type in your model and get a part list with part numbers...now try it on Kubota's site...

...Kubota actually has that now.

there are several other threads comparing these two models. Deere has stripped several features off this tractor to not canabilize sales from their more deluxe models (ie, the loader can't be removed). The Kubota is a more feature rich and proven tractor.
