I've decided I can't get by without the 4 in 1 bucket my old L-35 had, so I'm getting one on my L-39.

I was looking at Pirannah Buckets and they make 72", 78" and 80" 4 in 1 buckets.

Would going to a wider than "stock" (72") bucket cause harm to my tractor, like bending the FEL arms or any other type of damage?

I would love to have a wider bucket to grade wider swaths, push more dirt, hold more material, etc.

Could it cause problems?

L39, go with the 78" 4 in 1. I went from 78" to 84"(I have both buckets) and can not tell the difference as far as power to load the bucket etc. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I didn't feel that 3 inches of more leverage was going to hurt anything. The 84" bucket was a factory option for me. The 78" might have been an option for you, if it was, then you could feel better about going with the wider bucket. Just my experience.

Thanks, I was more concerned with there being too much leverage out past the FEL arms causing possible damage. I'd like to go with the 80" (4 more inches on each side)
