Ok, so if the tractor specs tell you the tractor is 45" wide, does that include the tires as well? Or is that measurement only how many inches between wheels and the actual overall width is the 45" plus the width of the tires?

And, what does front tread and rear tread measure exactly?

Normally tractor width is speced outside to outside of R1 ag tires. R4 industrial tires add to the width.

What I have seen is that the specs will include the width of R1 tires, but often in their narrowest position. Keep in mind many wheels are adjustable for width. And R4 or R3 tires/wheels will have a completely different width. Many R4 tire/wheel combo's are not adjustable and the width is what it is and you cannot do anything about it. Best to go to the dealership with another person and a tape measure.

And, turf tires are even wider, and not typically adjustable as are tire/wheel arrangements of R 1 and R 4 rigs. But wide can be good.
