I am looking at getting a mid mount mower. I need to know the width to determine if it will fit on an existing trailer. The Kubota web page does not list the overall width. Can someone please measure the outside width with the deflector both up and down? Appreciate the help:confused:

Does that have a metal or plastic deflector on it? Pictures online appear to show a metal one.
We have the the 60" version on our B7510. The chute adds ~12" to the width when down and ~4" (at 10" above the ground) when held up with a bungee cord (it can be a little bit less if you were to strap it way over, I think it would be the same width as the deck in that case). The deck width is ~2" more than the cutting width. So, the 60" deck is ~62" wide with the deflector up and over, ~65" wide with the deflector up and ~79" wide with it down.

Dimensions for the 54" deck should be 6" less.

rziprik221 - I posted the following in your other post in the Kubota Buying Forum:

I don't have a RCK54-24B, but the manual for my RCK60-24B shows the total width for the RCK54-24B as 1,695 mm or 66.7 in. I will be going to the barn in 1/2 hour and will measure how much width is saved with the deflector chute in the raised position.

Here is what I found:

The deflector on my 2003 RCK60-24B makes up 10-1/4" of the total width of the deck. The deck is currently not mounted on the tractor, and the deflector will rotate up far enough to "lose" the entire 10-1/4", HOWEVER, I don't believe it can rotate up this far when the deck is mounted to the tractor. When on the tractor, you might only "lose" 7". There is a single spring-loaded pin that fastens the deflector to the deck. I don't know how difficult it would be to remove and reinstall the spring and pin.
