Wife hid my L3710GST manual ... help!

Hi folks ... well, after my trying to destroy the Kubota (check "watch where you're going" on the Safety topics), Carver was extra fast getting new filters to me. I've got the old filter off and the new one in place ... but now I'm stuck ... with no owners manual, I have no idea how much (and what type or viscosity) oil I need. Anyone have the L3710GST info nearby??
Also, where is the oil drain so I can get the last few drops out (whatever didn't get shot all over the place) ... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Does anyone besides me have a wife who likes to file everything? I believe mine uses a black hole to file in ... as I never see it again ... sigh. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Check your email pete. Engine cankcase with filter, 8.0 quarts.
Engine oil : API Service Classification CC or CD

Above 77 degrees - SAE30 , SAE 10w-30 or 10w-40

32-77 degrees- SAE20 , SAE 10w-30 or 10w-40

Below 30 degrees- SAE10w , SAE 10-w-30 , or 10w-40

Copied directly out of my manual....

I know the feeling! And believe it or not I used to believe it too!

Now I am realizing it is only half true...and ususally can't figure out which half any event applies to.

Wingnut,"If" you find your manual there is a pouch on the backside of the seat that is a good place to keep it "them"

Thanks Kevin, I got the email, finished up the rest of the 100 hour service ... and THEN the wife finds the manual. No, I wasn't kidding, guys ... she really has this filing bug ... but she forgets to tell me (or herself) where she filed it. I think I'll take the suggestion of the pouch (after I put it in a ziplock baggie) and "file it myself" LOL

Sorry Dave ... I don't think there'll be any 4310 repair info in my owners manual (although I'll take a look tonight). I guess when this puppy gets a bit older, I will have to invest in the maintenance manual ...

I can't decipher from the thread, but did you buy your 3710 new or used and what year is it and is it MFWD?

I have a reason why I am asking these questions so please entertain me.
