Wife wants half of pole barn!!!

I built a small pole barn for my tractor 20x20 using simple ceder poles and metal roofing, open sides for now (going to close in for winter) with just tarps this year. I have my tractor under one side and most of my man toys under the other side.
Wife came out the other day and looked at one side and said that would make a great goat stall :shocked::confused2:
Now, I lov my wife and for the most part when I want something she doesn't mind my getting it., but I had to put my foot down on this one NO GOATS IN MY MAN CAVE!!!!
Now it looks like I'm going to have to go though putting up another one for her . Maybe...... I can make this one bigger like a 20x40 and give her this one ,I might be able to turn this into a good thing.:thumbsup:
I man just has to have his own place ,even if it is behind the house.

Fair is fair. You got a mini barn and she didn't. Your hobby is on four tires, and her's on four feet.

I can send you the photos of nice mini barn for her. You ARE gonna need them. As much as you like your man cave, you're not gonna want to sleep out there. :thumbsup:

Hmm...well, suggest you give her the one you have and build another...larger and better with the experience gained from the one you have already built. Don't recommend trying to share your man cave with goats... the billy stinks, extra space will be required for feed, supplies, they will be noisy and mess up your naps:drool:....and, worst of all, they will escape and get into all your man stuff.

Best keep them in their place... and you in yours:laughing:

I'm with Texasjohn here. This is the ideal time to move up to a larger barn for YOU. She'll be tickled to have the whole smaller one for her hobbies. :thumbsup:

Just consider it flattery that she liked your idea! Out place came with a 4-stall 40x80 horse barn, and I'm converting two of the stalls 12'x20' into a 4-season shop for my wife. Poured concrete floor, 60A service panel, heat, phone, Internet, windows, and weather doors going outside and into the main aisle of the barn. Granted, me getting cranky while building it before the snow flies may undo some of the good will, but I'm sure she's going to love it.
