Giving her one in Kubota orange sounds good. I had a 1972 VW Super Beetle. That thing would go anywhere and it was very economical to drive. While driving in the winter, I would put blocks in the front trunk and transverse even steep inclines. I loved that VW.
Do any of you remember the Turbonique ads in Popular Mechanics mag from the late 60's? They were racing a VW outfitted with their (850 hp?)microturbine. The final ad showed the driver posing with his smashed car...it turns out that a VW beetle is shaped close enough to an airfoil that you really shouldn't drive it anywhere near 200mph.

Well the beetle stories are cool but to be honest I don't care for them because I am a family truck kinda guy but ol lady just loves her darn beetle and of course you gotta let her have what she wants some times if you what to keep the peace. I just wish I could talk her into a new truck instead of her 2010 beetle that she loves so much.
