Will a 2TR13 engine bolt up to a YM1500D with a 2TR15 engine?

I just had a connecting rod break in my YM1500D/2TR15 and have located a 2TR13 engine that has the same horsepower. Does anyone know whether it's possible to do a direct swap?

Why not ask in the Yanmar section. The repair section is for all makes and models with common issues, not explicit ones.

Then you'll need the parts manual for both the 2TR13 (13Hp) & 2TR15 (15Hp) to compare the bolt-up and the spindle lengths. If that would work, why not a 2TR17 (17Hp) then?
