Will a JD8A backhoe fit my 4400?

Hello All,
Will an 8a backhoe fit my 4400? One of my neighbors has one that he is willing to sell me. He bought it at an auction and doesn't know what size or model tractor it came off of so he isn't of any help. He bought it before he bought a tractor and went orange so it doesn't do him any good. It looks to be in very good condition and has the subframe kit. I will have to add the power beyond kit but that shouldn't be a problem.
Any information or comments would be greatly appreciated.

The 8A if I remember correctly was made for the 950,970,990,1050,1070, and I don't beleive will fit your tractor.But a call to your dealership should clear that up.

I was able to confirm that with my dealer. He was closed for the three day wekend.

That backhoe will fit your tractor with the correct attachment parts (sub-frame and weldment).
