How much topsoil are you bringing in? Why bother with the leaves and branches when you can just cover them up with the topsoil?
Why till the ground if your laying sod? Same question for broadcasting seed. Why till? You can save a bunch of money with a disk, which will prep the ground for the grass seed just fine.
I bet you can clean up those leaves and branches an aweful lot faster with your rake than you can till the same abount of land.
