Will I be happy with the 4530

I have been looking at new tractors and I have almost settled for sure on the Mahindra brand. My local dealer has a 4530 4x4 with FEL in stock. I went and looked at it the other day but I am a little concerned that it isn't big enough for what I am wanting. I have about 600 acres of mostly timber with about 5 miles of roads that I try to keep passable. I have about 25 acres of deer/turkey food plots that I bush hog, disc, and plant at least once a year. I currently have a Kubota L2800 tractor that I am doing this with and it just isn't enough to be efficient. I want to be able to pull a HEAVY 7 foot bush hog, disc, and blade. I also do some minor logging and plan on getting the tires filled to help with lifting heavy loads and expanding food plots. Will this tractor do what I am wanting or do I need to hold off and wait until I can afford something along the lines of a 5530?

Welcome to TBN.
For taking care of 600 acres you do need a larger tractor. The 4530 would do the job easily as its almost twice the L2800 you're currently doing the job with it.
But since you're asking us to help spend your money go with the 5530 or even the 6530. Maybe even a cab model with heat and A/C.

The 5530 gives you a bigger front axle, bigger tires and better brakes, the 6530 adds even bigger tires and a standard remote and of course more HP. If you load the tires on a 4530, they get pretty heavy for their HP. Not a problem on flatland, but you start to feel it in the hills. For your application, I'd suggest the 5530 or the 6530, either would work fine. If you put a backhoe on the 4530, it really gets heavy. Heavy is good and Mahindra always pushes how heavy our tractors are, but at a certain point you need more HP for that weight.
