Will it handle it

Looking at a 6 1/2 ft United disc 20x20. I have a 3560 HST no FEL, will I be able to handle this disk or do I need to look for a smaller one?

You will be fine in HST/PLUS MEDIUM, toggling between MEDIUM/LOW and MEDIUM/HIGH. You will need to keep seat belt snug in order to stay in the seat.

Without an FEL for weight in front you may need front weights if you have to disc up slopes. On level ground you should be fine.

A Tandem Disc Harrow with 20 pans = 7" spacing between pans which provides more float, less penetration, than 9" spacing between pans.

To keep straight I recommend you show "CAB" in your tractor designation. That 700 pounds of cab can make a difference at times.

Consensus: A Tandem Disc Harrow needs 40 pounds of implement weight bearing on each pan in order to cut reasonably well.

A 6'-8" wide Box Frame Tandem Disc Harrow with 18" diameter pans has 35-40 pounds bearing on each pan.
Multiple passes usually required.

A 6'-8" wide Tandem Disc Harrow with 20" diameter pans has 40-48 pounds bearing on each pan.
One or two passes required.

A 6'-8" wide Tandem Disc Harrow with 22" diameter pans has 42-50 pounds bearing on each pan.
One pass usually does it. But too much for an L3560.

These numbers vary relative to thickness/diameter of frame tubing, axle diameters, number and thickness of pans.

As Grand Ls are standard with 2-WD, 4-WD optional, and some Grand Ls have rear tires inflated with air, others have rear tires filled with liquid, I speculate Land Pride recommendations are very conservative.

An old, worn Tandem Disc Harrow with worn bearings will pull harder than a new Tandem Disc Harrow.
