I recently had an adapter made for my 1845 (which is the old 3 pin attachment), so that I could use several of my attachments from my 422. I want to be able to use the 422 bucket on the 1845 on certain occasions and also the snow blade which I had made wider. I plan to take the dual wheels off the 1845 and put chains on all 4 wheels. I would appreciate any advice as to do you think it will work and any improvements I should made. I am attaching several pictures.

I knew someone would come up with something like this. I have the 425 so I don't know how much more powerful the 1845 is but just be careful using the bucket so you don't bend it. So how do you lock your attachments in at the bottom of the quick attach plate? Your snow blade looks good as well. I don't use chains with my 425. It works just fine without them. Nice photos by the way.

The attachment right now locks in with a 1/2 inch bolt dropped through the angle iron bottom of the attachment, I may change that eventually but it works ok for now. The 2 problems I have right now is the tractor top link I am using is a little too long and it will not allow the bucket to tip to the empty position quite enough and the other problem is the hydraulic hoses for the snow blade are not long enough to reach the quick attach on the front of the tractor to angle the blade. I would like to reinforce the snow blade but I'm not sure how would be the best way to do it. I know the attachments for the 422 are not as strong as the ones for the 1845 so I will have to be careful how I use them.
I more or less designed how I wanted the attachment made. I had the steel cut to size at a steel distributor and a friend of mine did the welding.

Sure it will work!

You might bend or break something, but so what? It can be bent back and welded!

As far as the hoses, just add short extensions, long enough to connect.

You can make a link bar by using 2, 1/2 in steel , 3 in wide, long enough to bore up to 4 holes to match up with all your implements. Then weld them together. I had to do something similar.
