Will not come out of second gear

I can not get the tractor out of second gear. Replaced clutch. PTO works fine. Everything else operates as it should. Lubricants are at optimal level. Any suggestion.

Try jacking both rear tires off ground... rotate tires rev. than try releasing out of gear.

Sorry, off topic, but the title of this thread caused me to immediately think of the old song from the 60's (I think) of the race between the Nash Rambler and the Cadillac. I believe the last sentence was from the driver of the Nash as he was passing the Cadillac. "Hey buddy how do you get this car out of second gear"
