Will TC33 do the job

From what I read, he was talking about 10 - 12 foot tall cedars. I would guess they are about inches at the butt. A TC33 could probably push a few over. I think they should be cut for posts being cedar.

ive got a TC33da ....ive pulled out up to about 2.5" trees with the FEL.... 3" on the draw bar.

anything over that takes digging around to yank out. it can be done but is not a quick process.

i agree with others to rent something to clear land. it will do great in smaller earth moving and maintace jobs.

Look for battery acid damage and the radiator coolant hose for cracking.

I am not familiar with radiator coolant hoses being a recurrent problem. The 90 degree hoses on the hydraulic cooler, yes, but not the radiator hoses.

Perhaps that was a general maintenance observation? RE cracked hoses ?? etc

Forgot about the hydraulic cooler hoses. Maybe the better statement would be to just check all the hoses! Good luck!

Finaly had time to go look at the TC33. However, when I called it was sold...I have to say at $12500 I am not surprised.

However, I found a Ford/Hew Holland 1715 for $7800, no FEL or equipment. Is that priced right or a littel on the high side? I guess when I compare it to the TC33 w/FEL and Brush hog it seems high.

Any input would be appreciated.

I paid 9500$ for a cherry 1920.. 4wd.. etc.

I'd want to bay more like 6500$ for a 1715.. etc..

According to TractorData.com, the 1715 sold for $11,500 new in 1997. (Last year of production).

How many hours does it have ?? $7800 sounds high unless hours are low & tractor is still in really good shape.
