All,

I don't know why it is so hard to find specs on pin spacing, arm spacing etc...but maybe someone here can help.

I have a Ford 1920 with a 7108 loader. I am looking to convert to SSQA, and have priced out a bunch of options. However, I just stumbled on a pin on SSQA adapter for a 270TL loader on ebay. Now...I know that the SSQA adapter for a 110TL would fit my loader, but is the plate for the 270TL the same? I know the 270TL loader has a much greater capacity that mine, but still...it is a great deal on ebay so I wanted to check with you guys.

Thanks!
Joe

Did some quick measurements...

Looks like my bucket brackets are 43.625 inches from inside of outer bracket to inside of outer bracket. The unit that is for sale has a measurement of 39.375 inches at this same point. So I would need to add about 4.25".

The problem is that this would increase the pin to pin spacing of the unit for sale to 40.25"...which may not work with a standard SSQA plate. Also, the outer dimensions of the brackets may be outside the bucket side SSQA plate at that time...

The pin spacing would also need to be shortened about 1"...

Looks like it isn't a great deal for me in the end :(

Thanks
Joe
