Found a good deal on a John Deere No. 9W sickle mower. The problem is I don't know if I can make it fit my 2520. It has two bars 21" long that are supposed to be bolted to the lift arm with a bracket. With the curve of my lift arms it won't fit. Is this bar necessary? Can I do a simple mod to make it work. The mower is in good shape and I would like to buy it if I can make it work.
