I just thought of a way to clean my mower deck that doesn't require crawling under. I want to fabricate a sort or a spray boom with three upward spraying nozzles that I could bury in the ground behind my barn. The nozzles would protrude out of the ground only an inch. When I want to clean the decks on my mowers I would drive them overtop the sprayers, one for each blade and hit the water and the blades of the mower to sling the grass off.

TSC has fittings you can put in you deck on the top to hook the water hose to and run your blades to do the same thing but I ain't drilling holes in my deck.

I think it would work but I'm a little worried about bearings getting water in them.

Your thoughts?

Actually it seems there is already something like it. Just did a search and found this.

Still I wonder would this hurt bearings?
