Winch for Kubota RTV 500

I literally installed it last night......but it's quiet and fast, love the wireless feature, and the synthetic cable. The elite is the same price as the Warn, but much better value with all the features. Amazon has the the plate for 53 shipped. I spent 23 on a on-off-on momentary switch from OTRATTW. I didn't wire it to a key, I wired it to a switch that powers the unit, that powers my rocker switch. I have little kids so I wanted added levels of security to it.

Thank you. That was what I was afraid of. I got the Viper Elite 4000 also. Promark makes one they say fits my 2014 RTV500, but since you say KFI worked for you I'll check it out. If I had known this was going to be this much hassle I would have let the dealer install their Warn. How do you like your Viper?

The dealer warn is 2500, ugh.....always over size the winch, less wear and tear. I think the 3000 or 3500 would have been fine, but the 4000 was nicely priced. You have the standard spool right?, wide spool won't fit.....

Yeah I got the standard. Like you I just couldn't see paying more for a 2500 lb winch when all you're really paying for is the name. Warn is good quality but not so much better that it would be cost efficient.
