Winch mount for jd xuv 850

Tying ready to take delivery on a xuv 850d. The dealer has given me 2 options for a winch mount. The first one sits within the brush guard. The other one fits into the trailer hitch and can be moved to the front or back. Anyone have any advice with regard to what is better or makes more sense

My brother has the HPX, very similar to the XUV. He has the receiver mounted winch which is wired for the front or back. That makes the most sense to me. It is a nice option to be able to winch from front or back, or, rescue yourself from whichever end makes better sense. That's what I'll do if I ever get a winch for my 850D.
What winch are you getting?

Definitely receiver mount. I have had both and the increased versatility of the receiver mount makes it the way to go.

I have an XUV with the receiver mounted winch in front. I like the receiver mount in front because it can be easily removed and one of these days I will wire it so it can be used from the back

Only concern I see with receiver mount is, can it still be used for a lift system when and if you install a snow plow?
I agree the receiver system is the most versatile and you usually need to pull your self back out of a sticky situation, so rear mount capable is a big plus.

i have mine on a receiver mounted....have power run in front and rear both....winch is wireless remote...

I have the reciever mounted winch on my 855D. I have been using it with an eagle snow plow and it works fine. I like being able to use the winch on the front or rear.
