I still wonder why people buy the windshield fluid to put in their tires - how much are you paying for that plastic jug, the water and the freight to ship that water? Why not just buy the plain methanol and add your own water? As far as how alcohol holds up, I put it in my rear tubeless tires 4 1/2 years ago and no problems at all. Got close to 1300 hours of heavy use on it, no leaks etc. I doubt seriously if my rims have any problems inside, but won't know that for sure until I have to change tires, hopefully not before another 5 years !!
