Winter came in hard this year

I think maybe the last bunch of years , winter seemed to start a little later then normal, but it sure seem to be here all of a sudden this year.

That's -21 C or -6 F. Cold enough I suppose for early December

A few pictures I got today. 1 2 Nearly of of the snow has fallen since Friday.

Me, too . . . just as long as the temperature stays above 32 F /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif and this morning it's 28 F which is just a little too low. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Bird, your having a heat wave over in Coppell. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I'm at work right now in North Dallas and the outside temp is 28 F too. Just called the wife and it is 19 F at home. Checked the McKinney airport temp and it's 19 F. That heat island the weather person talks about sure is working.

For most of November here in WNY it was mild and dry. Then all of a sudden last week the weather just flipped a switch and the lake effect machine cranked up. I'm about ready to start plowing the driveway.
Funny but the ski resorts here are still not open yet. I might be going to Tremblant soon.....

A few degrees below freezing I don't mind. I hate winter when it would be in the high 30's with a relative humidity above 80% like Houston usually is. The cold just goes through me. It wasn't bad here outside this morning about 28 degrees and sunny. Nice day.

In the 20s in Colorado with crystal clear blue skies and no wind. Just need a sweatshirt outside for wamth. I do need somesun block as my face is beginning to tan/burn with the reflection off of the snow!!

I think that I'll go do some downhill skiing today. Plenty of snow to play in and I don't have to move it with the tractor!!

I get to move plenty of snow in CO this winter. I'm working out in Vail making the snow all nice with a real snow tractor: a snowcat. I'll post some picts when I have a few more good shots.
