WINTER GOAT HOUSING

My wife wants goats for milk. She wants Nigerian dwarf or boer for meat. So we live in Mass and I wonder what we need to keep them in the winter. I don't want to build anything expensive or big yet, she has never had them and what if she changes her mind. Also can goats and pigs get along?

I was thinking of a hoop house using conduit pipe for a frame, but I don't think this would be goat proof. My problem with the 3 coops I built for poultry is I over do it and spend $$. Unfortunately my wife did not like the storage container idea.

If you do do something like the garage in a box, you simply line the inside with plywood and wire fence attached to the up rights. Nice thing is, you can move it around, its cheap, and if you get rid of the goats in a year or two, you still have implement storage :thumbsup:
