Winter is around the corner

Came up this weekend to do some outdoor work before it got cold. It's 22 degrees with a dusting of snow...

My brother's best friend lives in Eastport. He liked my brother's car and floated the idea of replacing their 4x4 pickup with a car. "What would you want to do a damned-fool thing like that for?" :laughing:

I had to drive from Bucksport to Deere Isle after a snow storm and counted 22 pickups, 14 Subarus - and that was it.

Yeah but I'll bet almost all those pickups were Toyotas. A car would be fine but they don't plow the roads until the snow hits 6" and most little cars don't have that much room before they start dragging in the snow. Eastport gets some incredible snow every now and then, especially in the Spring storms.

I don't recall seeing a single Toyota: do they make pickups too? I'm only 62 so I'm not old enough to buy one yet. It was 3/4's GM the rest Ford.

We had 3-4 bursts of snow that then melted almos immediately today.

Had a few sprinkles yesterday. Today, It's supposed to start warming up again. Darned Ol-Man-Winter just can't seem to make up my mind, but I know
he will hit cause he usually does right around Halloween.
