Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Winter is finally here !

We have had a very mild month weatherwise, Turkey Day and the two following it it were mild enough to wear a T-shirt outside (58 degrees) but today it is 27 and I just woke up, it began showing about 6 pm last night and the attachment shows our deck rail outside the front door. Measured 10 inches on the flat....SEAT TIME for sure later today.

Just started snowing here in the Western Md. Mountains. Only supposed to get a few inches though.

Original forecast here was for 6-12 inches, when it began snowing last nite they scaled back the forecast to 3-4...makes me glad to be retired, can spend the day playing with my toys, feel like a kid waiting to play with his new sled....:laughing:

Just spent two hours clearing the driveway and garage pad so wife could get to work...one attachment shows my '89 vintage Craftsman 5 hp dual stage, I added the car driving light in front and plug it into a 300 amp portable power supply (the orange gadget on the handle) it provides about 2 hours worth of light very handy to have.

Will get Deere out later and do my neighbors driveways I am the only retiree in this area so it gives me something to do.

Shows you what a difference 100 miles can make. We're in Baldwin (west central MI) and not a drop or rain or flake of snow this whole week. I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

Just came in, it is full sun now and 31, almost blinding !!

I'm over near Flint. We got about 5 or 6 inches. Not enough to use my refurbished blower which is on my new to me B2620. So I used the 28 year old B6200 with the back blade.

I wish we would have gotten a foot or more.

Gonna sell the B6200 soon so even if I just need to use the back blade, I'll soon be using the B2620, regardless.

Just got back from a shopping to Howell. Lot more snow than at my place. It will not last long though. The bright sun is melting it fast.
