Winter Shelter Help

I'm looking at the harnois shelters for my tractor. I've had an 11x20x8 one for 8 years now that has survived many many windstorms and the white cover was good for 4 years but leaked in the 5th year, but I've recovered with 2 layers of cheap blue tarp for the last 3 years but this is its last winter as well.
My buddy had the same one but it blew away twice, first time he straightened everything out again, second time he was finished with it.

Anyways, probably the big thing is make sure they can't lift up at all, I cut five HD 8' t posts in half and wire the bottom of the frame to them and then placed rocks all along the bottom edge of the tarp to keep it down. I don't know what my buddy did but clearly it was insufficient...

I am tempted to get a $300 shelter logic but they don't use thicker wall galvanized frames so I don't trust their durability.

These covers durability comes down to securing them with enough anchors, and these pulling down at the best angles.

What they call, "a hurricane," in some places, we call, "another crappy day in paradise."

I put up a Shelter Logic seven years ago. I works great!
The key is to put down a vapor barrier under a stone base.
3 - 6 mil clear plastic did the trick for me. Without the vapor barrier all you are doing is trapping moisture inside the shelter. I have vents on each gable end also. Never had any rusting problems. Go for it.

I bought a Shelter Logic 20 x 12 x 8 shed a few years ago.My only complaint is that the cover was showing signs of UV damage on the south side after 2 winters. I turned it around earlier this fall. I noticed a bit of tearing during our first snow storm on the degraded side. Hope that it will make it through the winter. I would have paided a bit more for a better quality cover.

I have a Shelter Logic 12x20x8' high round top.....IIRC $550.

for the tractor it's perfect for my storage, the snow needs to be helped off from the inside with a broom after each storm....

in my yard it is sheltered with tall trees so wind isn't an issue

If I was to do it over I'd lay down 6x6 lumber along the sides under the frame to help anchor it down
