Wireless Remote for Warn Winch

Anyone using a Ramsey wireless remote control for a Warn winch? I currently have a 9000k Warn winch on my Gooseneck trailer but the wire on the hand held control is too short. I decided to order a wireless remote. I received the unit last week but once installed, it didn't work. I called Ramsey who is shipping another unit.
Any pro's or con comments on these wireless remote?

There are a few guys using them on RTV's and having good sucess.
