Wisconsin THD on JD 24t hay baler

I am baling hay with a JD 24t with a THD and looking for someone who has or is familiar with same. Question: on the GOVERNOR LEVER, which hole (1-12, with 1 on the bottom) is the governor spring attached to? Is your spring 20 coils or 24 coils? Does your governor lever have a hook at the top or is it just flat? I have called Wisconsin factory and John Deere - neither could answer the question - too old a set up for them. Machine runs OK but as I bought it used, I'd like to know if it is set up properly.

Are there several sizes of THD ?

Might be you need to be more specific to what you have?

My JD 24T Manual does not describe much in the way of setting up the Wisconsin engine power module. However, it does reference an "Engine Operator's Manual". I would be on the lookout (eBay or ???) to find this JD published manual.

By the way, I checked out all the pictures of the Wisconsin engine mounted on the 24T baler in my manual and none of the pictures show the gov linkage to see which holes are used - sorry.

thanks for both replies. the spec number on my engine is 137997. serial is 3995530.

the engine manual referred to in the baler manual turns out to be the Wisconsin THD factory operator's manual that was originally supplied with the baler. Both came with the baler but neither shows this adjustment - go figure

I think what I need to find is someone who has or had one of these
