In town heavy traffic and light turns green... in the right turn lane and pedestrian steps out so all cars stop... the third car plowed into the second which was a new Ford Escape... I was the 4th car and saw it all...
What I was not expecting is to see 3 young men spring from the back seat of the third car with open Corona Beer Bottles and disappear into the crowd... carrying more beer.
I thought for certain the driver would leave... but his radiator is pushed into the block and hood looks like an accordion... old 4 door Mitsubishi...
Police do not respond to non injury accident...
I stayed on scene for exchange of info and the driver produced license, insurance and reg... no idea if he was also drinking... didn't see anything.
The Ford had a scuffed bumper and bumper trim... the Mitsubishi is probably totaled due to age and damage...
With no police... no sobriety check... guess the 3 passengers had it all figured out... No one I know would drive with open container(s)... guess we are all old school.
