Make SURE your getting fuel TO the injection pump..
Loosen the bolt connecting the fuel line to the inj. pump & turn on the key, as it might have an electric lift pump.
OR it might have a "mechanical" lift pump, in which case you'll have to spin the motor inorder for the fuel to pump up TO the inj. pump..
Once you get fuel UP TO the inj. pump w/ NO AIR BUBBLES.. tighten the bolt back up..
Next, loosen ALL the lines AT THE INJECTORS in the head.. spin the engine until fuel squirts out of there & tighten the lines back up..
It should fire up..
IF you have fuel UP TO the inj. pump & no fuel squirting out of the lines.. chances are good that the inj. pump control rack is stuck & the pump needs to come apart to be repaired..
SOME of those engines are equipped w/ an electric shut off, they turn off w/ the key switch.. while others are a pull cable shut off..
IF its electric.. check to MAKE SURE the solenoid is working.. allowing the control rack to go to the run position..
IF the sol. isn't getting power or isn't working, you'll never get it started..
Good luck & feel free to ask me any questions about the fuel system.. weather on the forum, private msg or home email.. good luck..
