Wood carving, porch posts and more

I know there are a few people here who have mentioned they are woodcarvers and as I drove past this place today I thought I would stop for a few pics. and post them here. I think when Eddie was building his house he mentioned doing some front porch post carving. Well, this guy is one of the best I have ever come across. I also do some knife and chisel carving but his make mine look amateurish. John

Very nice!!! One of the things I want to do with my posts, is carve small animals into them at different locations. Now you've got me thinking about it again.
