Well I finally pulled the trigger and bought a large chipper. It is a 2004 Wood Chuck W/C 19G, rated for 14" material. Has a Perkins 4.4 liter turbo with 477 hours showing on the proof meter. Still have to go through and check everything before I put it to work. It runs fine and all the hydraulics work. Needs a little welding on the discharge chute. I guess I will have to pull it around with my tractor. I have plenty of privet, mimosa, cherry laurel and chinaberry to chip.
