Hi all,
I have a Cub Cadet vertical/horizontal 27 Ton capacity wood splitter. I love the vertical option for the larger logs that need to be split but even some of the larger ones are a hassle to get onto the little platform so I can split them. I'm planning of fabricating a hydraulic lift so that's all I have to do is pull up the large logs, roll them to the lift table and let the hydraulics take it from there. My question is, can I simply "T" off the high pressure side of the hydraulic pump, run a pressure line to another valve and then to the hydraulic cylinder? I know I will not be able to use the table lift and splitting capabilities at the same time but I live alone and work alone so that ain't gonna happen. I'm also aware that I will not have the use of the vertical feature but that's a trade off I'm willing to live with. Thanks, Roger
