Just "picked this up". An old wood-stave silo. I will be taking it apart and moving it to my place. It will really look good next to my other 19c. buildings. It is made up of 3" X 5" tounge-and-grove clear lumber, redwood I think, placed in a circle and banded together.

Those silos are great, I tear them down and build cabins like this out of them.

Thanks for posting. I am curious about the Electrical Outlet on the outside. Was the outlet used for a dryer or for other purposes such as supplying power to a generator or tools? Just a thought.

It still has the dryer pipes on the floor leading out. It's not being used presently for grain, but I think in the past they stored and dried grain in it. The owner lives up north and its farmed by others. His parents passed a few years ago. He had the house torn down this fall so I contacted him thinking he was going to tear these down. That's how I got this one.
