I have an old Woods 121-2 Twin Cadet Rotary Cutter that I am rebuilding one of the gear boxes on. I am putting the output shaft back together but there doesn't appear to be anything actually securing the bottom bearing and sleeve except the little bit of pressure from the bottom seal and the retainer for the bottom washer. There does not appear to be anyway to tighten this assembly to keep it from sliding down the output shaft every time the gear box is turned upright. Does anyone have some insight as to how this bottom bearing and sleeve are supposed to be tightened in place? I haven't found anything on the internet about how to rebuild this thing so I am operating a little blind.
