I am finding that five to six inch stuff is having a difficult time getting through the rollers. They chew it up and don't digest as they should. Maybe I set the spring tension wrong? Should I loosen and back off on the eye bolts or tighten them up? Or is it something to do with the small set bolt at the bottom that might regulate the closures? Who knows? Other than this little problem right now I sure like the machine a lot.

Here is the followup.
What the problemo wuzz, the knives needed to be changed out. It wasn't a tension problem at all. I emailed customer support, and they told me likely I needed to change out my knives for the first time. Ah, way too simple! I had a buddyamine who works on big chippers verse me on my knives because I thought they looked like I had abused them and he said nope. They look just like you have used them the way the should be used. Voila. The love affair with the Woodmaxx WM H8 continues.
