Woodmaxx 8M chipper infeed clutch adjustment

/ Woodmaxx 8M chipper infeed clutch adjustment #11
Having some troubles with my WoodMaxx 8M - this one is the manual intake feed. It's no longer intaking, stops spinning on the smallest limb. Today the belt popped off. After reading this thread, I'm sure something has came loose and needs "adjusting" to tighten the belt. Just wanted to add to this thread: If you get a log hung in your WM8M, simply pull down on the infeed lift. You don't have to smoke a belt. If it's worse than that, then pull back on the safety infeed disconnect. One hint, make sure you put the stand down so the safety lever will go all the way back before starting the chipping. I am sure I can fix my troubles. But be careful! when WM8M works as it should, it can send so much material up the output blower that it can become stopped up. Then you DO HAVE to run to the PTO shutoff. Feed stuff with lots of leaves on a bit slower than the WM8M will take in.
