Woodmaxx WM-8H

I'm looking to add the WM-8H to my Kubota B3350. I have a post on a comparason between that and the Woodland Mills WC68, wrongly titled WC86 - because I'm dyslexic. Hope that helps.

It weights almost 1000 lbs...are you even going to be able to lift it with a GC?

WM-8H recommends a minimum of 19HP HP to run their chipper. Kubota specs say the 3-point hitch lift capacity at 24" is 1,676lbs. So unless some one is lying it should work!

I have a FEL, as well that should help balance things out.

At 19 HP PTO, you will not be chipping 8" hardwood with the WM-8H, per the Woodmaxx web site. It states 50 HP PTO is needed to run at the max rating.

Sorry, my reply was meant for the original poster, who has a Massey Ferguson GC1710, with a rated lift capacity just shy of 1200lbs at the pins...I suspect the chipper is 4-5 feet long, so that 1000 lbs is distributed quite far behind the pins.

You're B3350 is a very different tractor...you'll be fine. The OP, maybe not so much...
