Rotary Cutter Woods 48 rotary cutter for BX23

Any opinions on this cutter, on their catalog cover they have what seems to be a Bx 2230 pulling one. Are 48" cutters too big for the BX23?

A friend has a Woods 48 for his BX2200. It bogs his tractor a little when engaging, but once the blade is turning the engine acts like it doesn't know it is back there. He says the tractor sits too low to the ground to lift the tail wheel off the ground, however I don't know if he has tried adjusting the top link.
