Woods 5' Finish Mower Price

Stopped by the Woods dealer on saturday and looked at the 5' Heritage Model. Nice mower but I about choked when he said it was $1999. No front anti-scalp wheel or rear chains, just the basic mower.

This price sure seems out of line with I had in mind. I was thinking it would have been around $1400?

Has anyone purchased this Woods model recently and can tell me what they paid?

I can get a Busy Bee 5' mower for about $1300, but had wanted the Woods.

I knew steel costs increased, but I didn't expect this kind of increase.
These prices put me out of the market for a "name brand" mower.
Well, I reckon my 60" Befco had better last me a few more years

Picked up a woods heritage rd60 for $1595 the other day. Just finished mowing about 3 acres. Looks better than the old lawn tractor. Using it with a 7510 also.

Last fall TSC had the King Kutter 5ft on closeout for $695.00 I wonder what they are now.
