Hi, I was going to change the screen and hydraulic fluid and decided before I did that I was going to try and take a look at a small leak I have had coming from the control valve. I've always noticed a small puddle dripping from the control valve not much very minimal. I was able to look up all around it it looked like it was coming off these allen bolts on the bottom. I could not find any information on what these are for. There are 5 short ones and one long one. I'm wondering what will happen if I loosen these does it affect anything. Is there an O' or something inside there. I don't want to mess with any settings so I dont want to take these out and look up in there and have any springs or ball bearings or anything drop out since I can find no information on any drawing or parts list what these are for. It looked like my drip was mostly on the one to the left of the long one and the long one itself. Can I take these all off and maybe wrap some teflon tape on them and tighten them back up again without affecting any of the settings, change o' rings, etc... I can live with the leak but it would be nice not to have that puddle of fluid in my driveway anymore. One last question are those SAE sized or metric? The largest wrench I have is 3/8 and it's a little to small.
Thanks
David

After much searching over the past couple of days I came up with this drawing which is for a woods BH75 which looks identical to my 7500

The part that I believe on my control valve that is leaking is #3 and #4. I can see a small drip on those when I looked up under. It says those parts are spool pos ctrl assy which looks like the way it is pictured if those are screwed in or out would change the position of the control rod given that looks like the bolt will plug up inside the control rod. I'm guessing this is not going to affect any pressure sensing and worst case scenario if I take those out and over tighten or under tighten those the cylinder could drift does that sound right? I don't see any o ring on that allen bolt itself so would taking them out and putting on some teflon tape help or are there o rings on that control valve itself, those control rods seem a bit expensive to replace the entire thing. Does anyone have experience tearing one of these apart?
Thanks
David
