I have a new Woods BH70-X (subframe mount) and have a question to any woods backhoe owner.

My backhoe has a little up and down play at the swing pivot point (left and right swing). When I am using the hoe, I am able to feel the play some of the time. I am very curious to see if any other owners have this same prob. I could always make some spacers to make it a little more snug. If needed, I could always upload some pics of what I am descibing.

I have a smaller model, the BH6000 on a BX series tractor and I experience the same thing. I dont think anything of it since the BH is not permanently attached. I noticed it on a BX24 with a Kubota BH also. Pretty normal I would think.

thanks for the replies. I feel better other people have noticed the same thing then.

While I don't have that models of hoe, they do develop play and looseness as the bushings and pins wear. Once you price out new bushings and pins, then realize that they may have to be reamed to size, you will get a good case of religion. Grease religion that is, and I don't mean the Christmas and Easter only version either! Hit each grease zerk every day you use the hoe and the bushings will last longer.
