I bought a 2000 Kubota 4310 with a 9 foot woods backhoe in January of this year.

This backhoe has it's own pump and hydraulic reservoir driven off the PTO.

My first opportunity to play with the backhoe was this weekend.

When I go to extend the boom, it hesitates and drops down a bit before it starts moving outward. I notices this mainly with the main (lower) section of the boom, but it also happens with the outer arm of the boom.

Any ideas about what is causing this and fixes would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim

Air in the system.

Activate all the cyl through 5 operations.

The air should be expelled
