Backhoe Woods backhoe

Does anyone know if a Woods T 308 or T 30 ( don't know which model number is correct) three point backhoe will work on a 4310. I have the power beyond installed on the tractor. I have not seen the backhoe but the individual who is selling it for the owner says it's about 2/3 the size of a large unit.

I can't imagine that a 3 point mount us ANYWHERE satisfactory compared to the Deere mount. The mounting is no little thing, even a little hoe can put tremendous stress on the tractor, If your machine is in warranty, I'd be sure and verify compatibility with the Deere dealer. Even out of warranty, it would be worth finding out.

A 3PH backhoe is the fastest way I can think of to break your tractor into two pieces. Call your JD dealer and ask them for their input before you get one.

The three point hoes are fine for utility tractors, but not compacts. Utilities are built heavy enough that they can handle the stress.

They don't. The first step in installing the hoe is removing the 3 point arm assembly. The hoe mounts to a special frame on the back of the tractor, its really heavy and couples the two closely together. The 46 is a subframe model and also doesn't mount to the 3ph.
