Woods BB72 wheel came off, got chewed up.

I was bush hogging and I guess the pin feel out of the wheel. Since I didn't notice it I ran over the wheel and pretty much destroyed it. I called the dealer where I bought this thing and he said it was about $280 for a new wheel assembly.

I'm not having any luck trying to find an after market wheel and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

That wheel should be a standard 4x8 4 bolt laminated wheel. They are available aftermarket for much less. Almost every rotary cutter manufacture uses the same style of rear tail wheel.

Sloan Express mail order? #762900 $29.95 for the 4x8 wheel (16" dia, 5" circle 4 bolt pattern 3 5/8" center hole) , if you need a hub and bearings too that is #40246 $24.99 Call them at 800-934-9777 they are usually pretty helpful.

Do you need the whole assembly ( wheel and wheel mount including the wheel mount frame)?
