Hello everyone,

So I installed my belly mower last night for the first time, took me a bit of time to figure where everything goes. I do have a few questions though.

Does anyone have pictures of how you mounted the chain lift brackets to the rear lift arms ? I don't think I have them setup correctly.

And also. any trick on getting that massive deck under the tractor ? Looks solid enough to drive over but I didn't want to take a chance until I got some feedback from you guys.

I have a Woods 348MT

Thanks

I can't speak to the Beaver, but on my JD I lift the front wheels off the ground either with the loader or a hi-lift jack and then shove it underneath. Heavy bugger but it works.

I drove over the top of a Woods mower for almost 20 years with a Farmall 140. Now I'm driving over one with a Case IH 1140. It won't hurt it.

I figured it could handle it, I assume you removed the belt shields first as they look like they would crush under the weight. oh yeah its a heavy sucker to move alone...

I did take the shields off and left them off.

Check out the Woods web site for manuals. I had one on my Mitsubishi MT372 and I got the manual on line. I've since sold the tractor and gave away the manual.

Thanks Alvanko for the tip, I already filled the form online last week on their website as they did not have it listed and had a copy in my inbox within 10 minutes. Also found a dealer that stocks parts with 100km ( 60miles ). Now if only the lad would dry up and the grass would start growing so I can try this thing out... the weather is been so crappy up here. I am a month behind on my garden. haven't even broke ground yet. this time last year I was already eating radishes from the garden.
