Hauled my little 4200 to the woods dealer to get my hoe put on. Needless to say I was excited. The weather here in NE Arkansas is terrible. But, when I got home and unloaded it, I put her to work in the rain. I also had went ahead and put added the optional thumb, which is pretty awesome, to say the least.

Here is some pics of digging the spill way out for the back pond. If you notice, I'm digging in clay gravel, not the easiest thing to dig. The hoe is pretty stout, I also dug out some small trees which I didn't get a pic of. Now I do realize the ground is wet. Yes it makes a difference .With having a few thousand plus hours on a super k and super m case backhoes, it's not a full size, which is not expected. But a very impressive little machine. LUTT

Thanks, installed it was 7750. That was also with thumb. I know that seems high. My reasoning was justifying a good used full size back hoe. Cheaper, and will do the work, just in smaller bites! LUTT

LUTT, that sounds quite reasonable, especially with the thumb. I used to sell these and liked Woods finish. Since they also own Gannon, they put Gannon buckets on their CUT backhoes which are miniature versions of their industrial buckets.

Yes sir, I thought so, I forgot to mention that they use Gannon buckets,thanks for bringing that up! It's pretty stout, especially the teeth. I was digging heavy clay with rock yesterday. There fit and finish was great. Good looking paint also. LUTT

Right LUTT, I also meant to add that the teeth are industrial type that are easier to find rather than the older CUT backhoes that used odd-ball teeth cut out of mild steel and impossible to find at a reasonable price or stocked by anyone.

Side note, I used to live in Bono and really miss going up to Black Rock and putting in the river. We used to set lines on the weekends and bass fish in between running them. A few beers were drunk too

Dusty, ur right up my alley! I used Jonesboro Tractor Sales. There a woods dealer and talk to Tim, the salesman. I grew up on current and black up at Biggers-Reyno Dusty. Still fish and hunt up there on the farm. LUTT
