Woods BH 80 boom leak down

Hi everyone. I have a Woods BH 80 on my Kubota L4400 tractor and last time I used it, the boom started leaking down while trying to use it. Zero leaks anywhere. It’s started while digging around some stumps. All other movements work fine. It seems to start after a couple minutes of warming up. Any thoughts?
From reading other threads it seems in might be a valve? if so which one would it be?

If its leaking down by extending the cylinder.....it could either be the cylinder or the valve. You'd have to test the cylinder to determine which it is.

But how fast is it leaking down? Most modern backhoe attachments have a mechanical lock for the boom for transport purposes. And every new backhoe I have been around, they ALL leak. Raise it all the way up.....and after a few minutes it has bled off enough that you can no longer lock the boom up without raising it again.

So I'd question how fast its leaking down? And if its really an issue worth tackling? Cause while using the backhoe....your always moving the boom....so even if it bled off a few inches a minute....personally Id never notice it

It leaks down quickly in use. it just drops straight down and doesn’t want to go back up for a bit. It does it after it’s warmed up a bit. I figure it’s a 50/50 shot with which part I start with

Do guess and take the 50/50 gamble. Its called troubleshooting
