Kioti CK30HST, Kubota BX-1500,
So after some relatively heavy work with the Kioti CK30HST and the Woods BH-80 backhoe I notice some hydraulic fluid on the ground, 5 oz or so under the backhoe. I see a fairly constant drip under one of the control valve segments..

What does this mean please, anyone who has been through it before? I'm looking at Messicks parts and see most everything is available, but heretofar my experience has jut been putting the rear control ports in.

Picture attached of bottom of control valve, one of the bottom (relief valves?) is leaking.

Thanks for looking,

Mike

Can you wipe it down and confirm where the leak is? If the relief valve is leaking these would have seals on them that should be replaceable.

Thanks, will do that this morning. Good to know individual valve seals replaceable.

Well took off controls cover, wiped everything off, wiped everything down.

A drop formed at the bottom of the second section from the left facing the front of the backhoe. One pic below shows the drip.

The drip does NOT come out of the tiny hole in the bottom of whatever this unit iis, but COMES DOWN FROM THE BACK OF THE CONTROL UNIT and gather around the round tube at the bottom.

I established this with a few trials and wipings.

I can't see what is on the back and have not yet found an illustration of the back of the unit, but whatever it is I guess the whole thing must come out..

What can leak at the back of only this one unit? The manual does have lots of diagrams of the unit but still can't figure out what is on the back of it (the portion facing the tractor).

Thanks

Mike

FIXED BY LOCAL DEALER WINCHESTER EQUIPMENT COMPANY, BY REPLACING ALL O RINGS IN CONTROL UNIT, $590. Probably not being used for 4 or 5 years did in the o-rings, IMHO. Moral: If you don't use it, you lose it.
