Hello everyone.....
For some time I have been reading the posts regarding the best choice of backhoes for the Grand L's, the L3430 in particular.
The Woods BH90-X seems to be the most popular choice.
I plan on purchasing a BH90-X as soon as I am satisfied with my research regarding compatibility and local dealer pricing.
The several questions I have are....
1. One of my local dealers here in central Pennsylvania told me there is a 4 point sub-frame available for my L3430. I looked on the Woods web site for sub-frame mounting on an L3430 and found nothing.
Can someone confirm that this is available?
2. Is the Woods sub-frame compatable with a belly mower, again I was told that they are compatible where the Kubota BH90 sub-frame is not.
3. Woods literature states that 9-12 gpm is required for the BH90-X.
The L3430 gpm is rated at 8.3. Is this close enough for propper operation?
Would I need to use a PTO pump to get propper opperation?
I have read several posts stating this exact set-up with the L3430 and the L3130 with no mention of problems or the use of the PTO pump.
